“October Burning” is one of my favorite songs that I’ve written. The song came out of a love affair I had with an old George Strait country tune (can you guess which one?) and was inspired by the wildfires that burned around Los Angeles in the fall of 2018. I can’t wait to release the official version of it later this year — but I’m so excited about it that I want to share the original studio demo with you now.
